Recently after the new ios13 update on my phone, I've noticed I can't complete an expense without it asking for me to select a template, where is this option on the app?

Hello there, capitalcaraudio.

 

If you're getting an error "Please choose a template before saving," we have this issue reported to our engineers. They're already working on getting this fix as soon as possible.

 

As a workaround, you'll want to use the web browser, or the browser on your phone to create the expense.
