You can manually reconcile transactions in an accounts register. Before doing so, I'd recommend working with an accounting professional to confirm if you should be reconciling them this way. If you're in need of one, there's an awesome tool on our website called Find a ProAdvisor. All ProAdvisors listed there are QuickBooks-certified and able to provide helpful insights for driving your business's success.
Here's how to manually reconcile a transaction:
- In your left navigation bar, go to Transactions, then Chart of accounts.
- Find the account you're working with and click its View register option.
- Locate a transaction you want to reconcile and hit its record to expand your view.
- In the Checkmark (✓) column, press the box that says "C". It will change to "R" for reconciled.
- Select Save.
