Reconciling Payroll

When reconciling, my payroll DDs don't appear on the reconcile page. They only appear in the banking transactions and therefore are not applied to the correct employee. I have to do that manually.  All other transactions, whether from rules or ones that I entered, show up in reconciliation just fine. Any ideas?

Reconciling Payroll

Let's review your matched Bank transactions in QuickBooks Online, @mp04.

By doing so, we'll be able to check if the transactions we're properly matched and posted to the appropriate accounts. I'll show you how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. At the left panel, select the Transactions menu.
  3. Choose the Banking tab.
  4. Select the blue tile for the account you want to review.
  5. Go to the Reviewed tab.
  6. Click the link in the Added or Matched column to review the transaction.

In case, QuickBooks matches the wrong transaction, you can unmatch them in QBO.

Alternatively, we can also open the filters in the Reconciliation page to ensure that all transactions are shown. This is to ensure that the filters are accurate.

Here's how:

  1. At the left panel, select Accounting.
  2. Choose the Reconcile tab.

  3. Click the Filter icon.
  4. Select the necessary information in each field.
  5. Once done, click Apply.

Once done, you can start reconciling your account in QuickBooks Online.
