Sub account transactions stopped downloading mid-month

I have a parent credit card account for my corporate Chase credit card, I also have a sub-account to that parent account for my employee. All the transactions for both accounts have been downloading just fine for several months. I have been able to reconcile the parent account just fine and see all the sub-account transactions on the reconciliation. Then all of a sudden in the middle of September, the sub-account stopped downloading transactions, on 9/19/21. I see all the transactions from that sub-account on the reconciliation up until that point, but none after. I can not figure out how to get the transactions to download from that point forward. I tried relinking the account, and I get an error message "The account, Company Credit Cards: Chase: Chase - Employee, has a parent account that is already connected to an account at one of your banks." So any suggestions on how to fix?

Sub account transactions stopped downloading mid-month

Welcome to the Community, @ellecreative.

I appreciate you sharing the complete details of your concern. I'm here to help make sure you'll be able to download transactions from your sub-accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Before we proceed, may I ask if you received any error messages? This will help me provide the best resolution for your concern.

In the meantime, let's do a manual upload/update as an initial troubleshooting step. Here's how to do it:

  1. In QBO, go to the Banking or Transactions menu at the left pane.
  2. Click the Banking tab and select Chase.
  3. At the upper-right, click Update.

You can review the number of transactions on the account tile and you'll see if it increases. This would mean that QuickBooks downloads new transactions. If you received a banking error, you can visit this article and proceed to Step 4: Fix specific bank errors section and select the error you're prompted with: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online.

In addition, you can also manually import your transactions from your bank to QBO. You can check out this article for more information: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

If the transactions are now available in your bank feeds, you can now categorize and match them.

For tips and other resources, I recommend visiting our website for future reference: Self-help articles.

Don't hesitate to leave a comment in this thread if you have additional questions about downloading bank transactions or anything else QuickBooks. I'm always ready to help. Take care.

Sub account transactions stopped downloading mid-month

I'll know better in a few days if this fixed my issue, once I have transactions that can be downloaded from my employee's card. But I am pretty sure it fixed it.
