I'd like to verify the account you're using and if there are any errors you were prompted to so I can walk you through the detailed steps.
The unusual behavior may have been caused by a browser-related issue that's why bank downloaded transactions didn't sync as expected. First, we'll manually update the bank get the most available transactions and then perform a few troubleshooting steps to verify if it's a browser-related issue.
Here's how to manually update:
If you get the same thing, let's log in to QuickBooks using a private browser and then go to the Banking page if the transactions are now showing. Then, manually update it. If everything works, you can switch back to the main browser and clear the cache that have been stored that caused the unexpected behavior. You can also use other browsers such as Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, or Mozilla Firefox.
After transactions have been down downloaded, you can categorize them so they'll be added in your bank register.
Let me know how this works, I'm just here if you have other questions. Take care and keep safe!
Hello and thank you for the prompt response.
All the transactions are downloaded and the total dollar amount is correct. I am not missing any transactions. But the blue tile keeps showing a 56 but there is nothing to review.
When I sync with the bank in the morning, the system updates with the new transactions. For example, if there are 2 new ones, the number in the blue tile will be 58. I review the two new transactions in the review column and the number goes down again to 56. I am not missing anything but the number just does not go away.
Thanks for providing a screenshot and more details, @alonsomd95.
After doing some research on the for review tab, I can tell you that American Express and QuickBooks are having a connection issue when it comes to the For Review tab. The good news is our engineers are aware of this issue and are working with Amex to resolve it. They've created a ticket (INV-46856) that will provide email updates to QuickBook's users from our Engineering team. You can request a callback from our Online Support team to be added to the ticket and receive the updates. Here's how:
