The mobile online payments is posting automatically and I have a duplicate deposit made by a client who only made one payment. It is now showing she has a credit.

The mobile online payments is posting automatically and I have a duplicate deposit made by a client who only made one payment. It is now showing she has a credit.

@info849  Thanks you for joining our community.

 

To delete a duplicate deposit from QuickBooks desktop, follow these instructions: 

 

  1. Go to your customer's profile and find the original payment transaction. 
  2. Open the payment and hold down Ctrl+H on your keyboard, this will bring up transaction history. 
  3. From the list of transactions, double click the deposit line. 
  4. From the open deposit screen go to Edit and select Delete Deposit.
  5. A window will pop up asking if you want to delete the transaction; click OK

This will remove the duplicated deposit.
