Trying to set up a new bank account on line and it wont connect

There are a few possible reasons why you can't connect your bank, accounting299.

 

Here are the following:

 

  • Some banks have multiple names on our list.
  • You financial institution may not connect to all types of accounts.
  • The bank may not be a participating financial institution.

 

When you go to the Banking page in QuickBooks, and you see multiple bank names, you'll want to try all the matching options until you're connected.

If you're still not able to link your bank account and encountered some errors, you can search for the specific error code here: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/.

 

In the meantime, you can manually upload your bank transaction using CSV or WebConnect. This is a process where you can download your transactions directly from your bank's website and import them into QuickBooks.
