I've looked but no luck in finding an answer. I import my credit card statement after cleaning it up using BIG RED Cunsulting's OFX Cleaner (thank you BIG RED). After importing and viewing the transactions in Express mode I cannot stop it from auto-filling the checkmarks at random. Even after un-marking them all they still randomly start filling back in as I try to manually add groups of transactions.
Is there a way to stop this feature. I would use Express mode more often but this feature drives me crazy. WHAT WAS INTUIT THINKING!!!!!!
#%@%@$%@$ of $%^#$^#%^#%^. Have I said it clear enough? Every time I try to Express mode (Immensely helpful) I say to myself "I must be doing something wrong it can't be this bad" I finally tried to just add one transaction at a time using Quick Add. I click on the Action column to choose the "Quick Add" choice and the stupid cruiser and screen jump all over the place about half the time.
Is Express mode this bad or is it just me? All because Quickbooks keeps checking the boxes automatically. I found the answer from a 2018. It only says "At this time, there isn't an option to turn off the auto-match feature in the bank feeds. QuickBooks tries to match downloaded transactions to any entries in your register automatically. You can review the matches before adding them to the register."
Has this problem been corrected or do I just need to go back to Classic mode?
Hi there, @cici235. I appreciate your input from every angle.
The answer that you've found is correct. At this time, there's no way to turn off the autofill of checkboxes in Bank Mode (Express mode). I can see how the feature you're looking for is beneficial to your business.
