UPLOAD DATA FROM BANK

Hi Carlson.

You can prepare an Excel CSV file to upload your bank data manually to QuickBooks Online(QBO). I'll guide you with the detailed process.

First, get the transactions from your bank.

  1. Sign in to your bank or credit card's website.
  2. Follow your bank's instructions for how to download CSV files of your transactions to your computer.
  3. Check the date range for the download. It should be at least one day before the date of your oldest transaction.
  4. Download your transactions. Save the file somewhere you can easily find it, like your computer's desktop.

Then, check the format of your file before. Here are the instructions: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.

After that, you can now proceed with manually uploading the data to QuickBooks. You can open this link as your guide under Step 4: Manually upload the transactionsManually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Once the data are available in QuickBooks, here's how you can review and categorize them.

On the other hand, our Support Team is available every Saturdays from 6 AM to 3 PM PT. For more information about the support hours, you can open this link: QuickBooks Online Support.

Moreover, you can check out the topics from our help articles for more hints about QuickBooks and banking transactions.
