The iOS version of the mobile app was recently updated. It shows me what my actual bank account balance is under Transactions, but it no longer shows me the QuickBooks balance (meaning what my ledger says is in there less any outstanding payables).
How do I view both the current bank account balance AND the QuickBooks balance like before?
The way QBOL updates their applications is very frustrating. There are no links for change logs or functionality changes.
If you still get the same result, let's uninstall and reinstall the mobile app to make sure it isn't damaged.
To uninstall, tap and hold the app, then tap the "x" icon. Once done, download the app and install it.
Open the App Store on your device
Search for QuickBooks Online.
Tap Free and then Install.
Sign in using the same user ID and password that you used when you signed up for QBO.
If the issue persists after performing all the recommended fix above, I'd suggest contacting our QuickBooks Online Support Team to create a ticket for product investigation. This way, you'll get to inform our product engineers about the issue and generate a fix as soon as possible. You'll also get a notification via email for updates once the issue gets resolved.

That doesn’t work. It used to show me “balance” of my account and then “in QuickBooks” In the mobile app. Now it just shows my current bank balance. That is not helpful for me for online tracking.
if this was eliminated out of QBO mobile then the the whole QBO service is of little use to me since that was one of the main selling points for me. It should act like the desktop app in the way that it shows that specific piece of information.
i don’t have an interest in running a balance sheet or pnl report for this information. It was there before and it should still be there.
