When I add an expense via photo (email or mobile app), the only option is to have paid for it with my bank account. How can I mark it paid with credit card?

Performing these basic troubleshooting steps can resolve unexpected behavior when using the mobile app. Here's how accomplish this task.


For iOS:

 

  1. In your QBO account, go to the Help and Settings section to select Help & Feedback.
  2. In the Help & Feedback window, scroll down to hit the Refresh Data link.
  3. Click the Refresh button to confirm the action.

For Android:

 

  1. In your QBO account, go to the three dot icon in the upper left to choose the Settings menu.
  2. Once the Settings & Help window opens, click Refresh Data.
  3. Hit the Yes option to continue.

Next, go back to the Expenses menu to add the transaction and then pay it using a credit card. If the issue persists, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the app to start on a clean slate.

Alternatively, use the browser to open your company. From there, add the entry and pay it using the desired payment method.
