When I go to my bank feed to try to match the QB transactions, there are some missing. They do appear in the Registers and I have tried clearing my cache already

Hi milfordcstore,

From what I'm getting, you can't find matching transactions on the Banking page.

You can use use the Find Match option to look for those transactions.  To do this, click a transaction on Banking, and select Find match. On the next page, set a wide date range which includes the date of the transactions in your register.

If you still can't find it, please check if your register transaction falls into these situations:

  • it's is already matched to other bank transactions.
  • it's already marked as reconciled (R). In this case, you can exclude your bank transaction.
  • it has a different amount
  • it's in a different register

On a personal note, I like the online banking topic, and I'd be happy to help whatever you need about it. Always visit us back you still have other questions.

Hi,

The trouble I am having is that those transactions aren't appearing in my bank feed at all so I can't even check the "Find Match". I put in about 5 months worth of transactions and I am missing about 2-3 months. I have looked in all three tabs "For Review", "Reviewed" and "Excluded" just to make sure that they didn't end up there somehow. When I go to check the registers, they are showing up there under the correct account and do not have the "R" or the "Matched" (Two Squares) boxes.

I even cleared my cache on the computer to make sure that wasn't the problem. I am attaching some pictures for example

Thanks for the additional information, milfordcstore.

Your bank's register shows the transactions you manually recorded in QuickBooks. It also display those that are added and matched from your bank feeds. Based from your screenshot these are recorded within QuickBooks.

You can reach out to your bank to get these past transactions. Save it in a file format that we support like, .CSV, .QBO, .QFX or .QBO. Then, manually upload them into QuickBooks.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking page.
  2. Select the bank tile for the account you want to upload the transactions into.
  3. At the upper-right corner click File upload
  4. Click Browse to open the file.

After managing these transactions from your bank feeds, you might want to reconcile them.
