why am I being charged transaction fees if I don't take credit cards?

I am a small business owner using QuickBooks self-employed. I do not accept credit cards from my clients. However, I see that Intuit is charging me transaction fees. Why is this?

why am I being charged transaction fees if I don't take credit cards?

When you have QuickBooks Payments account, there's a fee each time you process a transaction, @sam220. It varies depending on whether the card is swiped (2.5%), invoiced (2.99%), or keyed (3.5%). ACH payments charge a 1% fee on each transaction, and these fees will still be applied even if you don't accept credit cards.

For more details, visit this article: What are the fees for QuickBooks Payments?

However, these fees can also be related to other payment methods or services associated with your account. You can use the Charge Lookup Tool in your QuickBooks account to review your billing history and confirm the charges. For more help, look at Option 1 in this article: Understand Intuit charges on your credit card or bank statement.

Also, to get a better understanding of your charges, I suggest reaching out to our Live Support Team. They can help you review your account safely. Here’s how to contact them:
