Why are mobile check deposits showing as a deposit and a payment in the bank register? I cannot get my bank balance to match due to these.

Allow me to share some details about your deposits. The transactions that'll show as Deposits in the register are money in entries. These include bank deposits and customer payments. Money out or withdrawals like expenses, checks, and bill payments will appear as Payments.

For now, we'll have to check your bank statement and review the amounts to see if there are deposits and payments with the same amount.

If the transactions in the register aren't in the statement, you can undo the downloaded transactions then excluded them.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Banking menu and then select the Banking tab.
2. Choose the account.
3. Select the transaction you want to exclude, then click Undo under the ACTION column.
4. Click the For Review tab. 
5. Select the transaction you want to exclude.
6. Click Exclude.
