Why does side bar show 'Transactions' rather than 'Banking' (just below 'Dashboard')?

When I hit arrow to the right of 'Transactions,' it gives the Banking, Rules, Receipts, and Tags options but says I no longer have access to view this data. Why?

Why does side bar show 'Transactions' rather than 'Banking' (just below 'Dashboard')?

Hey there, @sheilaweigel17-g.

Thanks for sharing your concern with us. I'll provide you answer to your query.

There was an update with QuickBooks Online (QBO). One of them is to change the Banking to Transactions menu. This is why it shows a different interface on your main screen. This will also show the Banking, Rules, Receipts, and Tags under this section.

However, if you're unable to access this window, it could be that your user access has changed. I'd recommend checking this out with your account administrator.

For more details, you can check this article: User roles and access rights in QBO.
