Why doesn't my linked account download all transactions

Re: Why doesn't my linked account download all transactions

Great to see you here, @rod2,

I want to make sure you can download your bank transactions in Quickbooks Online.

May I know what financial institution are you using for your online banking? This will help me check for ongoing investigations related to your bank.

QBO is dependent on what your financial institution shares with us. If there are missing transactions in the register, you can try manually updating your bank, to fetch your bank transactions that were not carried over by the automatic download.

  1. Select Banking from the navigation panel.
  2. Go to the Banking tab.
  3. Tap the Bank account you're updating.
  4. Hit the Update button.

However, if this is your first time connecting your bank online, QuickBooks downloads up to the last 90 days of transactions. If you need more than 90 days of transactions, you can export the data from your bank then import them to QBO using a CSV file.

Please check out these links to guide you with the import process:

That should get you on the right track. The Community always has your back, and I'm just a reply away if you should have any questions. Enjoy your weekend!

Re: Why doesn't my linked account download all transactions

Thanks but this apparently is a more complex problem on the QBO backend. I have 1 business cedit card account that is serviced by two credit cards with different numbers. I have allowed QBO access to both card numbers through my bank.  However, when I download transactions, only one of the accounts transactions comes through.  I called and was told QBO backend was getting error 352 and they are working to fix it. Thanks for your help.
