Just to make sure I'm on the same page, are referring to the information like the type, name, or description of the account? Or are you unable to update the transactions in the bank feed?
There are just a few steps to update the account details. Here's how:
1. Click the Banking tab in the left navigation bar.
2. Make sure the correct account is highlighted blue at the top of the page.
3. Select the small pencil icon in the top right corner of the blue box.
4. Click Edit account info.
5. Enter any necessary changes in the details window.
6. Select Save and Close.
If you're still unable to save any of the changes made, you may want to clear the cache in the internet browser. The cache can become bogged down with older data, potentially causing performance errors in QuickBooks Online. I can also show you how to update the bank feed transactions. Just follow these steps:
1. Click the Banking tab.
2. Select the account you'd like to update.
3. Choose the Update button in the top right corner.
Items will be pulled from the bank and show in the For Review tab. From here you can decide whether or not to accept the transactions in the register.
