Why won't credit card bank account that I just synched, show detailed transactions? Only shows total

Thanks for dropping by the Community, @jim144.

It's possible that the Show bank details option isn't checked on the Banking page that's why you're not seeing them. If this is the case, here's how to make them show:

  1. In QuickBooks Online (QBO), go to the Banking menu at the left pane to get to the Banking page.
  2. Click the Gear (next to Export) icon above the Action column.
  3. Place a checkmark on the Show bank details box.

Once done, you can now proceed with reviewing the downloaded credit card transactions and put them in the correct accounts. Check out this article for further guidance: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions by leaving a comment in this thread. I'll be here to assist. Have an amazing rest of the day!

Great suggestion. I did that but still did not bring in transactions. Tried updating and still no luck.  Any other suggestions?

Hello @jim144,

Since your transactions still didn't download even after updating your account, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Support. With their tools, one of our specialists can create a ticket linked with your account to be submitted to our engineering team for further investigation about this unexpected behavior.

That being said, here's how you can contact our dedicated support:

  1. Go to Help.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter Credit Card Transactions in the What can we help you with? field.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Choose a channel where you wish to connect with our specialists.

Additionally, I've also included this helpful reference for a compilation of articles you can use while working with your credit card account with us: Banking for QuickBooks Online.

If you have any other concerns, please let me know by leaving any comments below. I'll be here to lend a hand.
