Thanks for reaching out to the Community for support. I understand how frustrating it can be when your credit card info isn't accepting. Rest assured we will sort this out and get your card information saved.
To clarify, when you reinputted the credit card information, did you receive an error message? If so, can you provide the error to me? Knowing key details such as this will help to eliminate some of the causes of your credit card not accepting.
While I await your response, let's try some basic troubleshooting steps, such as clearing the cache from your browser. Web browsers collect cache to save time when loading repetitive data and images. These files can often become outdated and corrupted, causing issues like your credit card info not accepting. I've included the links for all supported browsers that contain the steps to clear the cache below.
Once you've cleared the cache, close the web browser and open it back up to see if your credit card info will update.
Additionally, you can also try signing into QuickBooks Online from another web browser or the App.
I look forward to your reply. Don't hesitate to let me know if you have further questions or concerns. Please know you can reach out to the Community at any time. We've got your back. Take care. Chat with you soon!
Will not accept my credit card info. Nothing changed from last month, but it's asking me to update. I did reinput the info, but still no success?
Thanks for getting back to us and sharing more information on your concern, @jameshennessy3. I understand you want to resolve this right away.
Possible reasons why you're getting the error credit card info is incorrect is the billing address in QuickBooks doesn't match the address on your credit card statement. You can also check out this article to learn more about why credit cards get declined.
I'd recommend you double-check the address on your bank statement and ensure it matches with your billing address in QuickBooks.
Here's how to edit your card info:
Sign in as the Master or Company Admin.
Go to the Settings menu, then select Account and Settings.
Select Billing Subscription, then click Edit ✎ beside your payment method.
Update your credit card info and ensure the address in QuickBooks is the same as the one on your credit card statement.
Select Confirm card or Save.
You also want to try updating with new credit card information in case you'll get the same error. If the result is still the same, I'd recommend you contact our QuickBooks Customer Care team again to help you check what's causing this to happen and help you fix it.
