wrong Reconciled by name on the Bank Reconciliation report

Thanks for posting your concern here in the Community, stockholmmerchan. I have the information you need about an incorrect Reconciled by name in the Reconciliation report.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) records the username of the person who completes the reconciliation. If that user logged in with a different name, perhaps a shared login or incorrect profile, that name will appear on the report.

We're unable to change the name on a past reconciliation report. However, you can edit the user information from the Manage Users window if modifications are needed. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and then select Manage users.
  2. Locate the name that appears in the Reconciliation report, then click Edit.

  3. Modify the user information, then scroll down to hit Save.
  4. Choose Update info.

Once done, refresh the page to make sure the changes are applied. Then, pull up the Reconciliation report to check if the details have been changed.

I've added this resource to help you determine how to save a copy of the report: View, Print, or Export a Reconciliation Report.

Moreover, here's an article that can guide you if you want to print the reconciliation report to save a copy: View, Print, or Export a Reconciliation Report.

Moreover, we have QuickBooks Live Expert Assisted that are always available to help you with best practices in setting up and making the most out of QuickBooks Online.

Please keep me posted if you have more queries about reconciliation or other banking-related tasks. My main goal is to ensure you receive all the assistance you need. Take care always.
