Start new tax returns for clients from QuickBooks Online Accountant
by Intuit•1• Updated 2 years ago
Learn how to create a ProConnect Tax Online tax return from scratch for your clients.
If you plan to do a client's taxes in ProConnect Tax Online, you can start a new return right from QuickBooks Online Accountant. This connects your client's account in QuickBooks Online Accountant to ProConnect Tax Online. It also enters some of your client's existing info so you don't have to do it twice.
Note: Instead of starting a tax return from scratch, use the Prep for Taxes feature. This lets you review and map a client's QuickBooks Online accounting data to tax forms. When you're done, export the forms to ProConnect to get their tax return off to a running start.
If you need to export your books from your QuickBooks Online Accountant account to ProConnect, you can use a spreadsheet import option.
