Would it be possible to explain how to credit the directors loan account with the expense/bill (for transferring/paying later) rather than matching to a physical bank transaction? Any help much appreciated!

Let's say the director buys office supplies

on an expense transaction

line one, office supplies expense, 100.00
line two, director loan account, -100.00  (negative amount)

save the zero amount transaction

 

office supplies gets a debit of 100
director loan gets a credit 100
