Adding Item Description to QB POS Customer Orders

We would like to add Item Description to the Customer Order screen (Layaway, Sales Order) and be able to remove fields like size and  color that aren't important to our business.  We can update other forms to adapt like this but can't add the item description to the layaway or sales orders.

How can this be done?

Let me walk you through adding Item Description to the customer's order. Here's how:

 

  1. On the New Sales Order screen, right-click the Header/Column.
  2. Then, choose the Customize column.
  3. From there, you can add and remove a certain column.
  4. Highlight the Item Description. Then, click Add.
