Batch Action Edit for Lists: Classes vs Businesses

Hi, @MakeTheSwitch. I'm pleased to assist you with inactivating the businesses that were accidentally created after importing your transactions.

If I may ask, may I know how these businesses are added to QuickBooks? This way, I'll be able to share with you the exact information on how to remove them from your record. You may also provide screenshots for visual references.

In case you're referring to the business accounts created under the Chart of Accounts, you inactivate them following these steps:

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
2. Click on Accounting at the left pane, then select Chart of Accounts.
3. Select the accounts you want to inactivate.
4. Tap on the drop-down arrow under Batch actions, then tap on Make inactive.

On the other hand, if it's about the businesses or QBO account, you can cancel the subscription manually through the Accounts and Settings page.

I know that managing your lists such as making them inactive by batch is helpful and convenient for you. That way, you can edit them by batch. For now, I suggest submitting feedback directly to our product engineers. They may look into this suggestion and consider adding the option to be able to make Businesses (Locations) list inactive by batch in the future update.

To submit feedback, you can follow these steps:

1. Click the Gear icon.
2. Under Profile, select Feedback.
3. Enter a brief description of your feedback and then click Next.
