"Bill To" box on invoices

Is there a way to make the Bill To box wider.  It is so narrow that our addresses print out in 4-6 lines.  Too hard to bulk fold our 2500 invoices to fit in the window envelope.

If anyone has an answer, please email me at [email address removed]

Thank you!!

"Bill To" box on invoices

Hello there, @DarleneSSLR.

Let me share some information on how you can customize your invoice to suit your business needs.

As of now, the ability to widen the Bill To field within QuickBooks is not available. However, you need not worry, you can import an invoice template with a wider billing address field. I can guide you on how to do it.

Let's first make sure to enable this feature in your account. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Labs.
  3. Toggle on the Import style option.
  4. Click Done.

Once completed, you can download the sample invoice template and make the modifications you want.

Here's how to upload your customized template:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Custom Form Styles.
  3. Click the New style drop-down.
  4. Choose the Import style.
  5. Pick Invoice as a form type, then click Next.
  6. Click Upload your .DOCX file field, then find and select your .docx template.
  7. Select Next.

Now, you can use the invoice template on your transactions. Just make sure to click on Customize at the button on the transaction page. Then, select the name of the template.
