Can I give a user permission to access a 3rd party app in quickbooks online? (Scan for quickbooks)

I have added the app Canon's Scan for QuickBooks Online. When user tries to add a scan it says she does not have permission. There is no such permission listed under settings/manage users. Do I have to have Quickbooks advanced to do this?

Currently, QuickBooks Online (QBO) doesn't offer specific permission for scanning transactions using a third-party application, even in the Advanced version. What type of transactions are you trying to scan? I have an alternative solution for you, Tammie.

 

We can assign a Company Admin role to that user. This will grant them access to all areas of the QuickBooks account and allow them to perform the same functions as the Primary Admin. This includes accessing a third-party application and utilizing the scan feature.
