If you're referring to e-mailing Point of Sale documents to your vendors and customers, all documents are mailed using the same basic procedure. POS automatically launches your default Windows e-mail client, creates the e-mail, and attaches the document in PDF format.
This is a default setting in QB POS and is currently uneditable within the program. To verify or change your default Windows e-mail client, open Internet Explorer and select Tools then Internet Options. Once done, select the Programs tabbed page.
Your current e-mail client program is listed in the E-mail field. If you would like to change the e-mail client used by Point of Sale (and all other Windows programs), select a different e-mail program from the drop-down list of installed e-mail programs and then select Apply.
