Re: Customer types

Hi there, @Libbpatt!

You can select a customer type from the Additional Info tab of your customer's information. It'll be my pleasure to help you accomplish this.

To start with, you can create a new type or select one from the list of existing types of your customers. Here's how:

  1. Go to Customers.
  2. Select Customer Center.
  3. Find and double-click to open your customer's information.
  4. Choose Additional Info.
  5. Under the CUSTOMER TYPE drop-down menu, select a type.
  6. Click OK.

Once completed, I'm confident you can now successfully setup and assign types for your customers.

In addition, you can check the screenshot I've included below for your visual reference.

As always, you can visit our Help Articles page for QuickBooks Desktop if in case you need to learn some "How do I" steps.

I'll be sure to get back to you here on this thread if you have any other concerns. I'll be keeping an eye for your response.
