Re: How can a packing slip created from mobile device

Good day, ACA.

QuickBooks Online has a mobile application. It is very convenient and easy to use. However, not all features are available on this version, and one of those is to create a packing slip. I can send feedback to our developers about this.

There are two different workarounds I can suggest. The first one is to use your desktop. The other one is to use your mobile browser. From there, you can generate a packing slip from your mobile device. We just need to make sure that it is supported. Check this article about QuickBooks Online access for mobile devices.

You should now be able to create a packing slip. Leave a comment if there's anything else you need help with.

Thank you for feedback. Yes, we print packing slips from desktop. I use your mobile app frequently . It is very convenient and relatively easy to use if I have to create an estimate or invoice. I find myself needing to provide packing slip and can't from mobile app. It would definitely be a nice to have.

Also, I tried your suggestion to use the online version from the browser.., very slow and could not print a packing slip from an existing invoice. I could get to the print packing slip option , but did not finish after selecting the print button.

Hello there, ACA.

If trying it on a regular browser is taking slow and you're unable to print the packaging slip, you may want to use a private browser. You can use either of the following shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome, press CTRL  Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press CTRL  Shift P
  • Internet Explorer: press CTRL  Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift N

If it works fine using the private browser, you can clear the cache of your regular web browsers. Otherwise, try using other supported browser.

Let me know how it goes. Please don't hesitate to reach back out to me if you have any other questions. I'll be around to help you out.
