How can i customize labels in QuickBooks Enterprise

I have created inventory items but need to print out the labels for the items. Essentially, every label should include a barcode, description, and part number.

Thank you for dropping by here in the Community. I'm here to help you with any questions you may have with printing labels in QuickBooks Desktop.


You can only add the inventory item name, description, and barcode number when printing labels in the QuickBooks program. Adding part numbers is currently unavailable.


Here's how:


  1. Click the File tab at the top menu bar.
  2. Select Print Forms.
  3. Click Labels.
  4. Select Item Barcodes.
  5. Below Sort labels by, enable Include item description.
  6. Choose Item Barcodes.
  7. Add the item.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Click Preview.
  10. Click Print.
