How do I remove online convenience fee from my custom invoices?

Hi, Eliott. I can help you remove the convenience fee from your QuickBooks Online (QBO) invoices.

 

If you're referring to the processing fee charged by payment processors when customers pay invoices online using credit cards, debit cards, or other electronic payment methods, please note that this fee is non-negotiable and cannot be waived during payment processing. 

 

However, if you're referring to the convenience fee charged as an additional line item on the invoice, we can simply remove the item by deleting it manually within the transaction. I can guide you on how:

 

  1. Sign into your QBO account.
  2. Go to the Sales menu and choose Invoices.
  3. Locate the invoice and open it.
  4. Under the Product or Service section, click the 3 dots and choose Delete.

 

 

If you have more than one invoice applied by the same convenience fee item, we can delete it from the Products & services to save time. Deleting it ensures it no longer appears on your invoices. Refer to the screenshot below for the visual process.
