How to add more Price Levels in Quickbooks Point of Sale Desktop Pro

I am just getting started with Quickbooks Desktop Pro and am building our inventory and customer lists. We have about 6 different levels of discounts for our customers ranging in different pricing for each level. I am only seeing the 4 Price Level fields that are available to select and edit. Is there a way to add more Price Levels to choose from?

How to add more Price Levels in Quickbooks Point of Sale Desktop Pro

I have some information regarding the Price Level fields in QuickBooks Pro.

QuickBooks Desktop Pro only offers four fields on the price levels to edit and change. However, you can create another price level for the other discounts. Here's how:

  1. Click the List menu.
  2. Choose Price Level List.
  3. Click the Price Level button, then select New.
  4. Set the parameters and settings for the price level.
  5. Click OK.

Do this until all levels are entered or accounted for.

For QuickBooks Point Of Sale, you can set or edit a price level the same way in the Pro version. Check this article for the steps: How to set price levels in QuickBooks Point of Sale.

Though, QuickBooks Enterprise version offers more options and fields for price levels. If you're interested to learn more about how it works in the Enterprise version, you can check this article: Use Advanced Pricing

Ready to work on QuickBooks Pro after setting up price levels? Or perhaps do you need to check other settings in Point of Sale? You can check out our guides from the articles list page:

Should you have questions setting up your company in both programs, please let me know. I'll provide information about processes and functions or features in QuickBooks.
