When I export the customer data on QBO, it can export the "notes" in Excel.
But when I try to update the information on the "notes" field and import back in, it doesn't show the field "notes" for select.
Does anyone know how to do it?
What report did you pull up for your customer data? Did you use the Export Data function located in the Gear icon? If so, the exported report doesn't include the Notes field.
The columns available to import for customer data are Company, Customer Type, Email, Phone, Mobile, Fax, Website, Street, City, State, Zip, Country, Opening Balance, and Date.
For now, you'll need to manually enter the notes in the customer profile after importing.

Thanks for your prompt reply, however these are the columns on the export excel form.
If I'm able to import the "notes" field back into quickbooks online, it would be fantastic.

I appreciate the details you've provided. The attached screenshot looks like it was an exported customized report. Though it has the Notes column, the system doesn't have an option to import it back.
For now, I'd recommend sending a product suggest about it. Please click on the Gear icon and select Feedback.
