Importing Journal Entries

You're unable to import journal entries from Excel to QuickBooks, JB1966.

You can use IIF files instead. They are used to import or export transactions, like general journal entries.

I'll guide you with the steps:

  1. Click File.
  2. Go to Utilities, then click Import.
  3. Select IIF Files.
  4. Browse to the IIF file, select it, then click Open.
  5. Click OK to confirm.

Let me add articles about IIF files to guide you better:

Not directly, but you can rather easily create an IIF file when using the BRC IIF Transaction Creator , which will convert your worksheet based transactions to an IIF file tailored for your company.

As additional option, utilize the importer tool to import JE into QBD
