is there any way to migrate my existing QBO to UAE version ? we have difficulties with VAT reporting as international/US version does not support VAT.
Alternatively, you can export your accounts and name lists to Excel and import them into your QBO UAE account.
As for your transactions, you can connect your bank and credit card accounts to download them to the Banking page. You can upload the ones that won't be included during the first-time download and categorize and add them to your books. You only want to do this after setting up your UAE company and importing your lists.
Talking about VAT, please refer to this article: How do I set up sales GST/VAT rates and use them on forms? (International QBO).
You'll find VAT reports on the Taxes page, or you can go to Reports and search for VAT to see the list of VAT reports.
Please don't hesitate to go back to this thread if you have other questions about exporting your data.
Thanks for reply, This one is international version of QBO, only Sales Tax is available not VAT.
so we can only pull sales tax (output VAT) not the paid taxes on expenses (input VAT)
Prepare your QBO UAE account
Then you may have 2 options:
1. Utilize a 3rd party migration tool
2. Purchase a 3rd party migration service
