Invoice customization in enterprise

Is it possible to displays total from a report in a  field of a invoice, in any virsion of quickbooks?

I need to display the total number of a product purchased by that customer till this date.

We can't add the total number of items (from different invoices) on a single invoice. Instead, we can create a statement that displays the item details. Here's how:

 

1. Click the Customers menu at the top, and select Create Statements.

2. In the Create Statements window, go to the SELECT ADDITIONAL OPTIONS section.

3. Put a check mark in the Show invoice item details on statements box.

4. You can Preview, Print, or E-mail the statement to your customer.

 

You can also share your idea to our Product Development Team. They'll put your suggestion into consideration for future updates. You can click the Help menu at the top and select Send Feedback Online.

run a sales by customer detail  report, it will show all items sold by customer for the report time period

Hey @Ashwanichand,

 

Sounds like you want to include a customer history on each invoice? I am not aware of an automated feature for this, but you could always print them out a customer detail report, filter for the customer, and include it alongside their invoice.

 

Doing this per invoice would be pretty manual. Instead, you could create custom reports for each of your customers and schedule them to go out via email on a weekly or monthly basis.
