Keyboard Shortcut

Yes, there is. Use Alt-x for Expenses and Alt-m for items.

You can see the hot keys on their labels as is Windows-standard:

Keyboard Shortcut

Hi, @MyOCC.

Currently, there isn't a keyboard shortcut to move between the expense and the item tab in QuickBooks Desktop. In the meantime, I'd suggest clicking the tab manually.

These are the available shortcuts for the item:

  • Ctrl + Page Up - go to the first or last item in the list.
  • Ctrl + N - to create a new item.
  • Ctrl + - to edit account, customer, product, or service lists.
  • Ctrl + - delete an item.
  • Ctrl + F6 - access an item report on a list.

Please get back to me if you have additional questions. It would be my pleasure to help. Keep safe!
