Im wondering if Intuit has any plans to make changes to the Proadvisor access to online bill pay.
We are encouraged to find ways to help streamline our clients work processes with Apps but we are not allowed access to use them on thier behalf unless they set up a company administrator account login for us? As a bookkeeper, I do everything for my clients including paying thier bills. If Intuit wants us to promote these paid for apps, they should be accessible to us to use without a "workaround". It is a waste of time and creates concern for the client.
Why can there not be "level's" of access the client can give us as the "accountant" to pay thier bills online?
Accountants: Can I set up Bill Pay for my clients?
No. The owner of the bank account and the business must set up the Bill Pay feature. Only Master and Company admins will have access to use this feature. Accountant users will not be able to use the Bill Pay feature for their clients.
I talked a client into using this service because of the availability we now have to pay contractors via direct deposit, yet I do not have the option to use it from my account.
I am now concerned about recommending any paid for apps to my clients. If I cannot access the app/service myself through my accountant access, I just wont recommend the app.

This is a great question. I am actually going to forward this to the ProAdvisor team (they sit down the hall from me :)).
In an ideal state, what would you want online bill payments for ProAdvisors to look like?

Ideally, I would just like to have the ability to use the online bill pay function without my clients having to set up a different login with admin access. It creates questions for them. "Why do you need separate access when I've already added you as an accountant?"
In my experience, they just say, "tell me what to do and I'll do it."
It just makes me feel like I am limited and unable to give the level of service I want to. Especailly when I talk them into using a paid for app, and then I can't access it without other login credentials.
