Payroll Taxes and Reports Due Alert

I really need support here. I've put this suggestion in several times now and with every new release it is still not available. One of the MOST important dates is to pay and file our quarterly and annual taxes on time or else one is  faced with paying a penalty.

QB has, under Company Preferences, a reminder tab where you can set up a reminder for printing pr checks, etc. However, there is no button for paying your tax liabilities. I need to write a task to remind me when these are due, which frankly is not the most efficient system.

I have only 1 employee that I pay once a month and depending on the workload I may or may not catch the date the liabilities are due.

I was told that if I hadn't paid my taxes that I would receive notice that they were overdue, and that we could set the dates ahead to trigger this report. I do not believe that this is a good solution.

I believe this to be a simple fix and one that is more valuable then printing pay checks because if we don't pay our employees - they will certainly let us know.

Hopefully, with your additional suggestions this one might get done.

What version of Quickbooks are you using? And online or desktop? I found this article that states they add it to your To-do list. I hope this helps!


If you are using a different version or this is not the case for you, I agree that this should be an option!
