QB POS multi item scan to automatically update qty
Our in store customers frequently come up to our check out counter with a cart full of mixed items. I would like to pull out the items and scan them in any order and have the quantities automatically update instead of each scanned item being entered as a new individual line.
Is there some way to have this done? It is absolutely a must have, as we cannot spend time pre-sorting their items before beginning to scan them.
Let me provide some clarification about scanning items in any order.
When scanning products using Point of Sale, the system defaults to adding a separate line if you enter them separately. To check if it's possible to configure the setup specific to scanning, I suggest contacting our Point of Sale Customer Care.
