Join nowIf I switch from Multiuser mode to Single User mode, then back to MUM, do I have to setup the network again?

Good day, @budster13.
Welcome, and thanks for dropping by the Community. I can share some information about switching QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) from multi-user to single-user mode and back.
If you already set up and installed the multi-user network for your QBDT, then no. You don't need to do it again when switching from multi-user to single-user mode and back.
Please note that the recommended multi-user setup is having the company file stored on the Host computer. For more information about managing or hosting your QBDT, consider checking out these articles:

I finally got my multi-user mode working but I cannot switch back to single user mode. What do I need to do now?
Thanks for joining the thread, Kathy. I know how you can switch to Single-user Mode in QuickBooks Desktop.
Make sure first to run QBDT as an admin. Then, follow these steps to proceed.
I've also included a screenshot for visual reference:
Please note that the single-user mode limits access to your company file to only one person.
You can also read through this module to find out what you can perform using single user: Features available and tasks you can perform in single or multi-user mode.
