Quickbooks 2021 Format help

Hi there, JamesBrinson97.

Thanks for attaching a screenshot. I'm here to help you customize your invoice template.

We're unable to remove the Item column on the transaction screen since this is where you select the product and services that you sell. Though you have to option to hide o remove it on the printed invoices. I'll show you how:

  1. Select Lists from the top menu bar.
  2. Choose Templates.
  3. Open your existing invoice template, select New from the Template drop-down menu to create another one.
  4. Click the Additional Customization button.
  5. Go to the Columns tab.
  6. From the Item section, untick the checkbox for Print. (As you can see, the checkbox for Screen is grayed out).
  7. Click OK, then OK again to apply the changes.

To help design how your sales forms look and control what information to include, feel free to read this article: Use and customize form templates.

Issuing invoices is just a part of the account receivable workflow, I recommend visiting this page to learn the different ways in tracking customer transactions with QuickBooks Desktop: Get started with customer transaction workflows.
