hi @gbhambhani18 ,

Which version and edition do you have? You may open youf file and press f2 or CTRL + I. A popup will appear and you will notice those informations (eg. QuickBooks Desktop: Premier [xxx] Edition 2017 Release R14P).

Re: “Quickbooks Desktop has expired,To continue using Quickbooks Desktop, you must buy Quickbooks...

This error indicates that your QuickBooks license registration is damaged, gbhambhani18.

To resolve this, you'll have to delete the entitlement file, and then enter your license and product information again,Here's how:

  1. Close your QuickBooks Desktop application.
  2. Make sure that all your QuickBooks processes are no longer running.
  3. Open the entitlement data folder for your operating system and version of QuickBooks.
  4. Right-click the EntitlementDataStore.ecml file, and then select Delete.
  5. Select Yes to confirm.
  6. Open your company file, then follow the on-screen instructions to register the application.

You can check this article as your reference in doing this steps: Resolve installation errors by deleting the damaged file.

If the same thing persists, I'd suggest reaching out to our Phone Support Team. They have extra tools that can check your application further.

  1. Click the Help menu, and then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Select the Contact Us button.
  3. In the Ask a question field, enter QuickBooks Desktop has expired. To continue using QuickBooks Desktop, you must buy QuickBooks Desktop now as your keyword.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Select either Message an Agent or Talk to a Specialist.

If you have other questions, just reply to this thread. I'd really appreciate it.
