How can I enter and pay bills with the online app. 

I use an IPad Pro.

I hope your New Year is off to a phenomenal start, @Suncoastrefinishing.

 

I'm here to provide some insight on your question regarding entering and paying bills in the mobile app. At this time, the QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app only supports creating regular Expense transactions. I can see how having this feature could be very beneficial to you and your business, so I'll be submitting a feedback report to our Development Team for review. They're constantly using requests from users like yourself when deciding how best to improve QuickBooks.

 

In the meantime, I have great news. You can still create Bills on the go with your iPad Pro by accessing QBO from a mobile browser. The instructions below will ensure your success with this:

 

Creating Bills in QBO Using a Mobile Browser

  1. Open your preferred mobile browser on your iPad Pro (Safari, Chrome, etc).
  2. Follow the link to navigate to QuickBooks Online and sign in using your usual credentials.
  3. Now you can use QuickBooks as you would on your regular desktop PC. Press the Plus (+) icon > Bill to create a Bill.
  4. When you're ready to make a payment, press  the Plus (+) icon > Pay Bills to do so.

Doing this will allow you to create whichever transactions aren't currently available in the QBO Mobile app. For more information on what the app can do, check out our thorough mobile app guide or this awesome video tutorial:

HI Michael,

Any update on them adding the Bills feature to the mobile app? I see you mentioned here that you would enter a suggestion to the Dev team? Were you able to submit it and if so have they responded to your request or made any progress? This lack of functionality is probably one of the most frustrating aspects of the QB online/mobile app pair.... since entering bills is one of the most used and timesaving aspects of it for me. Thanks in advance for your response and help.
