Quickbooks POS opening Balances not Synchronizing with Quickbooks Financials

Good Day Community people,

I need your solutions to this problem.

I use Quickbooks POS Desktop v11, I imported Inventory opening Balances into Quickbooks POS from Excel on the 1st of January 2021. I also did the financial exchange with Quickbooks Desktop Financials and discovered that the value of Inventory Asset in Financial is lower than the value of Inventory in POS.

I became very curious. When I checked the Quantity Adjustment History behold the figures had been broken into pieces with ERROR status.

I have tried to correct these errors in Quantity Adjustment History in POS but all to no avail.

Please I need your assistance and help on how to correct these errors.

Urgent please, urgent please.

Best regards

Thanks for posting in the Community space, @08034018500. I appreciate all the efforts you've performed to get this resolved.

I'd like to check this for you and get it taken care of myself. However, I won't be able to check your account without asking for sensitive information.

It would be best if you reach out to our POS Support Team. They have tools that can check your account securely and provide troubleshooting steps to resolve the error status. Just click this link on how to reach them: Contact Payments or Point of Sale Support.

Also, I'd suggest repairing your QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale. This helps resolve errors you encounter while installing or using POS.

Before doing so, make sure that the QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale is not running before performing the following steps.

  1. On your keyboard, press Windows + E to open the Computer window.
  2. Note: In Windows 10, 8.1, and 8, click the Computer tab.
  3. Click Uninstall or change a program. In a certain version of Windows, it may just say repair *See below*
  4. Select your version of QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale and click Uninstall/Change.
  5. In the Point of Sale Installation window, click Next and select the Repair radio button.
  6. Click Next again and click Repair.
  7. Hit Finish
