Scanning multiple expense receipts in to QuickBooks Online

Hi @AMcKay

I personnaly just discovered that Xerox is about to realease a really interesting App that allows to scan multiple receipts in a single scan. It's simply called "Connect for Quickbooks Online" and some more info are available following this link : https://www.news.xerox.com/news/Xerox-unveils-new-ConnectKey-Apps

I'm really looking to test it and already talked to my Xerox local vendor, but it seems it's not been released yet... If you are interested, I'll keep you informed on its efficiency.

Best regards and hope that could set a little glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.

Scanning multiple expense receipts in to QuickBooks Online

Hi there, AMcKay.

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us. I'm here to help and provide some insights about scanning expense receipts in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

There's no way to scan a bunch of expense receipts once you're using the QuickBooks application since this is working as designed so you can select the correct transactions. However, if you're trying to add multiple attachments list transactions in QBO, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Select the Gear icon.
  2. Under Lists section, choose All Lists
  3. Select Attachments.
  4. At the upper left, select Attachments (clip icon)
  5. On your keyboard press Ctrl to browse and select the document you want to attached, then select Open.

I also added some articles for your additional reference:

If you need some assistance with our phone support with the steps, you can contact them through this link: Get help with QuickBooks Online.

Don't hesitate to leave a comment below if you have other questions about Scan receipts/ Attachment in QBO. I'm always here to help.
