Searching for an item within in a multi-line invoice

Hi, Everyone.

I was wondering if it is possible to use the search feature within in a multiple-line invoice.  I have invoices that have 60 lines.  Sometimes I need to make a correction to a line or delete a particular line due to invoice adjustments.  I have to do a manual look at each line item to find the one in particular that I am looking for.  Is there a feature in QBO that allows me to do a search for info within the invoice description to more efficiently find the line item I need to change when there is an invoice with lots of line items.  Please advise.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Sending good vibes to you, AMP01.

You can correct or delete a particular line to your multiple-line invoice by pressing CTRL + F key on your keyboard. Here's how:

  1. Find and open the multiple-line invoice.
  2. On the invoice screen, press the CTRL + F key on your keyboard.
  3. Search for the name of the item you want to correct or delete.
  4. Once you found it, make the necessary correction or delete the line item from there.

In case you want to know other shortcut keys in QuickBooks Online, you can press CTRL + Alt + Question Mark (?) altogether.

Additionally, you can visit the following write-up: Sales and customers. This will provide you links on how to manage your company income as well as resources about other customer-related concerns.

I'm only a post away if I can be of additional assistance or need more help with QuickBooks. I'm always here to keep helping. Wishing you a wonderful rest of the week.
