Setting Default Landing Window

After logging in to QBO my screen defaults to the Client/Contact page.  I would rather have it land on either the Banking page or the Chart of Accounts page.  Is there a way to set this?

Setting Default Landing Window

hi!

by your case I can assume that the link you use to login QB is the link on contacts page. to solve this you can clear history on your browser, and simply re-login into QB.

to be more assured, you can bookmark your desired page on QB and use that link when you wish to login.

hope this help :)

Setting Default Landing Window

I agree with this request.  I have tried many things to change this and cannot find a solution to this issue.  I am using Google Chrome on Windows 10.  I have cleared my cache of all QB history.  I even created a desktop shortcut to banking to open on Chrome and yet ALWAYS QBO wants to open and LAND on CLIENTS.  I would simply like to point this to BANKING.  There must be a simple flag to do this that I cannot find.  Please help.

Thanks.

Setting Default Landing Window

I know how important to set your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account's landing window, @Budget Friendly Bookkeeping. That's why I'm here to share further details about it. This way, you'll be able to determine the actions you need to take care of this.

You're using the supported browser (Google Chrome) and recommended specs (Windows 10) for QBO. The actions you've performed like clearing your cache and cookies and bookmarking your desired page (Banking) when logging in to the system are the suggested steps to land in your preferred menu.

Since you're still landing in the Client/Contact page after performing all the recommended resolution, you can isolate this by logging in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser (incognito). Just press Ctrl Shift N for Google Chrome.

From there, sign in using the bookmarked Banking page. If you're able to land in your preferred menu, go back to your default browser and clear its cache again. Make sure to delete everything by selecting the All time option. Your older data will potentially cause the system's performance issues. Doing so will refresh it. However, if the issue persists, I'd recommend pulling up your QBO account using other supported browsers.

I want to make sure your up to date when it comes to the system's features and latest news. That's why I'm adding this article for the complete details: The QuickBooks Blog. It also contains links about Quick Start Guide and QuickBooks Resource Center to name a few.

Please let me know if you have other concerns. I'm just around to help. Take care always.
