Trial account setup and for some reason it defaulted to Indian currency and state selections. I am in the US. How do I change to US currency and state selections to setup

Welcome to the Community, @johnamico3-gmail.

 

Since you've mistakenly set up a trial QuickBooks Online (QBO) account for India, you can consider canceling it. And set up for a trial account for the US version. This way, your home currency will default to US and state selections.

 

Here's how to cancel your trial QBO account:

 

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Click the Gear icon, then select Account and Settings.
  3. Go to the Billing and Subscription menu.
  4. In the QuickBooks tiles, click Cancel your trial.1.PNG
  5. Select Continue to cancel to confirm.
  6. Follow the on-screen instruction, then select Submit and cancel subscription.
  7. Click Got it.

After you cancel your QBO India version, you can set up for a new trial account for the US version. You can use this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/online/.

Make sure you are registering to QBO US version, not QBO India version.
