3/12 notified we had not finished setting up payroll go to EFTPS make payroll tax payment. in expenses pending tax payment 3/17 this will double charge our acct.

3/12 notified we had not finished setting up payroll go to EFTPS make payroll tax payment. in expenses pending tax payment 3/17 this will double charge our acct.

You'll have to record the payment in QuickBooks Online, Cprminion.

 

Recording the payment manually will not create a double charge. This will just take out the pending tax payment. 

 

Here's how:

  1. Click Taxes.
  2. Go to the Payroll Tax tab.
  3. Click Pay Taxes.
  4. Select the tax, then click Record payment.
  5. Ensure the payment date will be the same date as to when you paid the tax on the EFTPS website.
  6. Select the bank account, then click Record payment
